How to Make Money with Twitter: Ad.ly

I recently came across another way to make money with twitter: Ad.ly.

What is Ad.ly?
Ad.ly is an in-stream advertising platform that matches top-tier Twitter publishers with top-tier brands.

Ad.ly enables Twitter publishers to make money from the content they produce on Twitter by sending one Tweet every day from advertisers that they approve. In order to ensure authenticity, every Ad.ly Tweet is explicitly approved by the Twitter publisher. The publishers are able to set the price they want advertisers to pay and can optionally donate part or all of their earnings to charity.

The system works almost the same way as the other sponsored systems with two major differences. One, you can set your price. Based on the number of followers you have, ad.ly estimates what your tweets are worth. If you aren't getting a response from advertisers, you can adjust it. And two, this platform seems to attract the high-end advertisers. I joined the system and about a week later I was contacted by ad.ly stating that Sony wanted me to post ONE tweet about one of their upcoming movies. For my efforts I was paid $171.50. Just for one tweet!!!
